Don's Club 2011-12 Officers
We had another successful year thanks to all of your effort and support. We need new Officers for the next year. No officer may hold the same office for more than 2 consecutive terms. Consequently, we need a new President, Secretary, and Treasurer. We also need help with the snack shack, fund raising, etc. If you have any interest in taking on a leadership role, please contact me (alan.schauer@meivac.com). See the attached position descriptions. We need candidates lined up soon because we have to vote for Officers at our May meeting, which is May 11 @ 6:00. I’ve had fun being the president, but we need a new one. You even get to wear a cool, bright yellow jacket!
OFFICERS
* PRESIDENT: Chairman of the executive board meetings.
Speaks at school functions to promote the Dons Club (or delegates task)
Approved to sign checks. (Note that 2 signatures required per check.)
VICE PRESIDENT: Backup for the president
Approved to sign checks. (Note that 2 signatures required per check.)
* SECRETARY: Records and publishes the executive board meeting notes.
Approved to sign checks. (Note that 2 signatures required per check.)
* TREASURER: Records all cash transactions.
The treasurer does not handle cash.
Prepares a monthly income/expenses report
Has the annual federal and state tax forms prepared
Approved to sign checks. (Note that 2 signatures required per check.)
CO-TREASURER: Handles the cash

Any adult member older than 21 years of age in good standing is eligible to hold office.
The voting for the Executive Board takes place at the May Don’s Club Meeting.
